Rainbow Stitched

Had a little fun with this one. Wish I could've blended my colors a little better. I like this simplicity and colorfulness of this one. I hope my friend does too!
Have a great day

Crazy Circles

What a crazy fun card. Just a simple little birthday card for a friend. I LOVE circles. Have a great day.

Simple Sympathy

Travis' Nana passed away a couple of weeks ago. It was a hard ending as she developed Alzheimer's. We will definitely miss her and so will the kids. I made this card for Trav's mom to let her know that we were thinking of them even though we couldn't be there for the funeral. His mom loves purple, I hope this card will ease a little of the pain she feels from the loss of her mother. I don't even want to imagine...

My Messy Tessie

Tessa sure knows how to run with the boys...she has to! Here she is in all her cuteness, playing with slime. I'm truly grateful to have at least one little girl. She likes to dress up and put on polish, but you can be sure she'll be right alongside her brothers in that mud puddle when it rains. Have a great day!

Feel Better

I made this card for my blog buddy, Jenn's, dad. It took me a while to get it done because of my craft room being in such a disarray. I like that it's not too feminine but still looks pretty. Someone gave me the really distressed paper, it's stiff and thick. The label is from Cute & Curly. We're off to go camping tonight. Have a great day.

Wating for you Jonah

Here's a pretty simple lo I did the other night at a scrap get together. I love this stamp set from Impression Obsession. I stamped it in Cranberry Crisp and then used my gel pen to add the white to each flower. The chip letters are Li'l Davis. I have Jonah's birth story written down and want to do so many more pages for my little man. Hope you're having a great day!

Summer fun: some 365 for ya

My mom comes t visit and Tessa takes a picture. Cute, huh?
This is what happens when you tell your four year old to go and get ready for church! I think his pants are even on backwards. He was totally serious too. Here's how he looks after a little help from mom.

I know it doesn't look like much now, but it's so much better than the grass and weeds that WERE growing here (which I had to dig up one shovel full at a time). I'm trying to be conscious of the fact that we do live in the desert and still have a nicely landscaped "yard". I've planted hundreds of native wildflower seeds and they're sprouting up everywhere!!!!!

Who wouldn't want a boat named after them but Travis said no to the 2 grand.

My living room yesterday! Holy Moly!

In sympathy...

I made this understated card for a dear friend of mine who recently lost her little one. She moved to be closer to family and we miss her terribly but know that it's the right thing for her and her family. Sorry for the horrible picture.

Love the sprayground

We have a sprayground not too far from us and every summer the kids can't wait until it opens. I love it because even my littlest ones enjoy themselves...no deep water to worry over. This is Jakob havin' a BLAST getting dumped and sprinkled on. Have a great day!

Scrap Again, Scrap Again

I am so having the itch to scrap...just have to tie up a few last projects around here. Here's a lo I did about Trav and I. Super simple but it does the trick. Next week starts swim lessons for Jakob and Tessa. Two weeks of driving into town every morning. Ugh. It will be worth it though. Have a great day.

Grad Cards

Here are just a couple of the graduation cards I made last month. These were for two different people but the color combo was the same. I used a 12x12 piece of paper for the base, but cut it down so that it would fit in a regular invitation size envelope. The scroll stamp is from the Noteworthy set. Top Note die used for the insert. Have a great day.

So long, not farewell.

So Jakob has cub scout day camp this week. The kids and I spent the day up there yesterday, I have today off and then I'm back up there Thursday and Friday. They had so much fun at the tot spot while Jakob enjoyed archery and making "fossils" with plaster of paris. Everyone wanted to sleep in today...Tessa's usually the first to rise. I will be posting crafty stuff soon...my room is still in a shambles due to painting and other reorginization stuff. Take care. Have a great day!
