I'm so excited to share this project with you today.
It's Christmas time and I wanted a special way to deliver my homemade goodies. I created a template for my truffles using simple dimensions. 2" on each side and 4.5" wide. Perfect for three truffles nestled inside.
After I cut out my template I scored the box every two inches along the length. Flipped it around and scored it at 4" and 6.5" for the side flaps.
Fold on your score lines.
Ink your edges.
THE BEST PART is I only needed ONE piece of 6"x6" paper from Authentique's Gathering line to make cover the box. I wanted a bit of contrast so I did use the same paper all the way around and no paper on the bottom. I cut the strips at 1.75"x 4.25" the little square that got cut off of each long strip was the perfect size for the sides of the box. :)
Add your truffles or nuts or and kind of treat and oila! Perfection.
On this box I punched holes but you don't have to. There are so many ways you can dress it up.
How about a pinwheel and some twine :) with some beautiful Free Bird papers.
Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog along the way to be entered into the drawing.
