I used Julee Tilmans Mojo Monday Sketch #20 to complete this card! I made this card for my boss to thank her for an unexpected and well received Christmas bonus.
On another note I really wanted to give my great friend, Beth, props because the amazing and super talented Ali Edwards ordered one of the paper wreaths she makes and even scrapbooked about it in her 25 days of Christmas album (click on "Ali" link to view her album). You can find Beth's Etsy shop here at Haru: a little celebration of paper to see her lovely work. I love all of the meaning and thought that goes into her creations.
What a fab card! I Love that monkey. :)
ReplyDeleteVanessa.

ReplyDeleteThis card is fantstic, it is on my case list, have to make about 50 birthday cards and this is a great one for kids. Love it.
ReplyDeleteWow! what an honor! I had the privilege to meet Ali in person but wasn't quick enough to get my camera out :( she is SUCH a nice lady! Your card is 'stinkin cute' by the way!

ReplyDeletegreat card Misty, love the cheeky monkey :) x
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative with your stamps and patterned paper! I love this card :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling me about the PBS show. I actually have never seen it before, but I do know that some people show ferrets at shows. I used to rescue them, and these four are the last of my rescued brood. When my critters pass away, I have them individually cremated (it's not that expensive - about $60), and then I put their ashes in teddy bears. I am sad to say I have a whole collection of teddy bears now. Tis the mark of a rescuer.
Congrats to your friend, Heather! How cool is that?? I met Ali Edwards at CKC Seattle. She's such a neat lady :)
Oops! I meant to say congrats to your friend BETH not Heather. I must have had my friend Heather on the brain!!
