Make me smile color inspiration
I made this card for a someone who has recently blessed my life. You should check out KWerner's color inspiration this week! SWEET!
For some reason I feel drained today. I took Jakob to school and laid back down in my bed...so tired. Tessa and Aaron played army guys and about 45 minutes later Tessa came in to tell me that I had been asleep for "a long time". So I got up and put in a load of laundry. I probably just need to get to bed earlier tonight. I made a YUMMY eggplant parmigiana for dinner last night...recipe forthcoming. The kids didnt' even complain last night... Jakob had seconds and Tessa kept asking for more, more, more. I think the last time I made it I cut the eggplant too thick and the taste was a little overpowering. Have a great day!
Ruffled Bloom: Stampendous
Paper: Basic Grey
Punch: EK
Ink: Real Red, Basic Grey, Basic Black
Platinum Stickles
Silver bead
BTW you have to check out this link...GRID PAPER the possibilities are endless on what kind of cool grid papers you can create and use in your own scrappin. A tip though: don't print until after you've viewed your creation, that way you can go back and adjust line thicknesses and colors if you want to.
Hugs,
Misty
Wow! That is gorgeous - your card is filled with texture and loveliness and totally exudes beauty! And I would love to get your recipe for that dish because everyone around here suddenly got a lot pickier.... Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThe last month sucks the life out of you! Then the baby comes and forget about it. With Kennedy I thought something was so wrong because I was exhausted beyond belief and didn't experience that with Ava. (Yeah for induction on that part.) Anyway just get your rest in where you can and make the kids where their clothes a few days in a row so you can cut down on laundry or better yet make Travis do all the laundry.lol It's almost over and then he'll be here and you will forget the pain and fatigue.
ReplyDeleteGreat textures and layout! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!
ReplyDeleteToo funny . . . I've used that link many times to print out graph paper for my girls when they need it at home for homework!
Oh bless your little heart! Let's be honest, those last 4 weeks suck big rocks! Ahhhhhh....just think how nice it will be when you can actually bend over, see your feet, not practically hyperventalate from walking up a flight of stairs. Granted, you'll still be sleepy from feeding that little peanut, BUT what sweeter reason to be woken up at night than to be met by the breath of an angel!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your box arrived! I know there was a few strange odds and ends, but like I said, if you hate it, feed it to the rattlesnakes! I wish I would have known how much you'd like the WRMK Explore stuff. They are such an amazing company to work for and I've got butt loads of their stuff. Maybe some more will have to find it's way to you one day! ;)
So random thought....are you near the Mescalaro Reservation? Sheesh, I probably killed the spelling on that one. My brother served in Albuquerque on his mission (thus my even KNOWING how to spell Albuquerque) and spent time on that reservation. He loved it there.
Well, saying prayers that your baby lets you be as comfy as can be. It's a boy isn't it? Or is it? I can't remember. Does he/she have a name picked out? I know it's horrible but I still look at our Matthew and wonder if I chose the right name. His name is actually John Matthew, and I think I'm liking John better. For now I just call him JM. Poor kid doesn't really know WHAT his name is.
Well hang in there. Wish I lived closer so that I could take your kiddos for an afternoon and smell that sweet baby when he/she arrives.
:0)
Oh and by the way...STUNNING card. Oh I wish I had even an ounce of your card making ability!
