Everything but the Kitchen Sink Post.
Aaron, this morning with a bunch of carrots from our garden, we got a yellow one and as soon as I took the picture he went and ate it! We also got "a fat one, an armed one, and a perfect one" according to Jakob. Danielle's Onsies...so sweet. I love her saying for the air balloon one "High on Milk". Me, sewing Jonah's blanket. I still need to get a pic of the finished project. I love the alien fabric. Another box full of goodies from Kristy! I am in love with that circle unity stamp (so Jakob would say, "Why don't you marry it?"). Yum, yum. Look at these sweet baby boy outfits. Darling package. Awwww, the darn bunny...cost me an arm and part of a leg today. Turns out his teeth are a MAJOR problem and, yeah, they'll need to be trimmed once a month which only costs $15.00. Not bad you say, well here's the kicker...the gas to knock the bunny out to have his teeth trimmed costs $57.00...YUP that's right folks I just adopted us big problem. I have no one else to blame but myself, I am just gullible and love sweet, furry things. The vet also had a second recommendation, surgically pulling the teeth, which would cost between three and four hundred dollars (like my husband would ever let that happen for a $20.00 rabbit). I was suffering over what to do and decided to get his teeth trimmed today so he has at least one healthy month left before we have to make any big decisions. I feel so bad, I just dont' know what to do especially with the little guy coming so soon. Hopefully you have a better day than I did. Take care.
WOW!! Awesome happy mail!! Can't wait to see the whole blankie and I feel so bad about your rabbit....but seriously, the cost??!!! Ouch! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
ReplyDeleteYou have been very busy! I hope you are able to rest at least a little!! All of your goodies are absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to see your finished blankie! It looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteyay for blog friends! And friends in general. Glad you like the onesies- hope they come in handy. :) I made Asher a "high on milk" onesie yesterday. I love it.
ReplyDeleteway to go on the baby blanket! I am a beginning sewer and enjoying it when I get the chance. I'm working on some dolls for my nieces for their b-days. They are super simple and fun. I love fun fabric like I love paper :).
Maybe you can freecycle the rabbit to a good home closer to the teeth trimmer? That's a hard call. SO expensive!
The garden photo is precious. I can't believe you are so close now! And all of those goodies.
ReplyDeleteOh, no on the bunny. I'm a sucker for animals too, so I'd have done the same thing. I wonder if he'd chew on a rawhide bone? LOL!
Baby blankets are a good place to start when learning to sew.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there is any other way for the rabbit's teeth to get shorter? It seems that nature would have some sort of solution for that?
That picture of Aaron with the carrots is so cute!
I'm so sorry about your bunny. That totally stinks. We loved looking at the bunnies at the fair last night, but for the first time I think we've found a difference. LOL! I'm not so in love with animals. In fact I'm desperately trying to find a home for our bearded dragon.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got your box. Sorry it was a crazy mod podge of stuff. Had to make the most of the flat rate box. Oh and I guess you figured that that little skirt was for Tess. From one Tessa to another!
All right....gotta get my Aaron some breakfast. Mr. Sunshine just barely woke up....lazy lil' man!
I hope your day is better!
Hugs!
Goodness you are busy!!!! You better try to get a **little** rest here soon before you get NONE!!!! I'm sorry about the bunny costs.....we've done that only with dogs that we've adopted!!
