Here's my little Aaron having his hearing tested. I knew there was something going on. I kept telling the doctor that he said "huh" every time I said something and that he made it a point to look at my mouth when I spoke. So, unfortunately, I was right. The audiologist told me to put my fingers in my ears and that is and appoximation of how Aaron hears things. The good news is that it is easily corrected by draining the fluid behind his eardrums...which means another surgery for tubes...he's grown out of his other set. I'm so grateful for modern medicine.
I keep thinking Colin has the same issue, but he always passes the school tests. Instead it's his eyesight. I'm glad that it's fixable.
ReplyDeleteI think you should tell your doc what you said "To suck it!" That's the best!
ReplyDeleteyou are such a good mom to notice that he made a point to see him watching your lips while. hope it goes well.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear its fixable...I'm starting to see why they say mom knows best no one cares more for our little ones than we do!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else. Also it's good you noticed because his speech can be affected by his hearing.
