Only a Matter of Time

In the car...waiting for Daddy to come out of Harbor Freight. That tooth has been SO ready to come out for SO long. I told her to pull on it a little and then it was all wonky. She didn't like that one bit...so I grabbed a tissue and pulled downward. Whalah!
Happy girl...the tooth fairy is coming tonight! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Take care!

Felt Tissue Case Fun

I made this little guy quite quickly and I LOVE him. I'll be doing variations of these for some of those nearest and dearest to me for the holidays. I love how perfectly the travel tissue pack fits inside and how chic it is! Have a great day.

Simply The Best

This was a quick and cute one. I love this tree die by Quickcutz. I hope you all are having a great day. I have three kiddos with strep, but they all seem to be doing so much better today. It's amazing what antibiotics will do in such a short time. Take care.

Grandma Series

Before my mom moved to Pennsylvania a month ago I made sure to get a picture of her with each of my children. This is the first lo in my "Grandma series". I'm going to do a similar lo for each of the picture and have my mom tell me one thing she loves about each child. I miss my mama. She's too far away now and I'm not sure when we'll be able to travel across country to see her. I pray that it's sooner rather than later. Have a great day!

Veteran's Day 2009

I just wanted to share that I am so thankful for the country that we live in. It is an amazing place. I'm grateful to all those who serve in the military and who have served before. It is truly a great sacrifice. My grandfather served in WWII and the horrors he witnessed were unbelievable. I just wish he was still here so I could tell him the service he gave to this country makes me glad to be his granddaughter.

Fix a shirt in a flash

So I've got this shirt and I like the way it looks on me only problem is I STAINED it! Can you believe it? Me, stain a white shirt! What are the odds. I've exhausted the remedies of stainlifting so I chose a new direction...applique!!!!

OFFENDING STAIN New and Improved shirt with applique!

Close up. Isn't it cute? I'm so happy I can wear my T again. Have a great day.

Even after all these years I still think this is a pretty cute card. Although I'd probably add a few more details nowadays. Hope you're all having a great day!
Here's another take.

Sharing some more spookiness...grossness...

Thank you Wal-Mart cake decorating person for making my day a lively one. Shhhh, Frank. That lipstick is horrible. No, WAIT, it's Michael Jackson come back to haunt us in the form of a cake.
Poor Kitty got half run over.

What my eyes look like when Jonah stays up all night.

Ummmmm, Paris should sue her make up artist.

Do skeletons even HAVE brains? Come ON!
Have a great day.

Spooky Forest

I love to make Halloween cards but I don't think people send them very often. The tree image is by Magenta, the sentiment and the pumpkin are by studio g. I hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Ear, Ear!

Thanks to my dear friend Jenny I learned to make these lovelies today! Just experimenting, but this was really enjoyable and I hope to make more in the future. The tiny blue/green ones are for Tessa. I really think I'm going to switch up the turquoise coral ones. They're not sitting right with me (although Jenn likes them). Hope you're all having a great day!

Jakob's first day of 3rd grade

Jakob is enjoying third grade except for the increased work load! Holy schmoly with the spelling words. He needs to learn 30 a week being in the upper level reading so he's challenged! Well let me tell you, I'm the one who's being challenged trying to get him to study them all the time! Have a great day.

Super Dudes Revised

After posting this lo the other day I just couldn't stop thinking that something was missing. I picked it back up, punched out a couple of kapows and then used my little star punch to give it a confetti look. It's better, but I think I'll add some words to the kapows...maybe! Have a gret day!

Super Dudes

Every time I see this layout I think of the part in Incredibles where Frozone says, "Honey, where's my super suit?" "I need my super suit!".
This is just a simple little layout about two boys who rule the world! Aaron and James are the best of friends and they have fun no matter what. Especially when one of them says the words "poop" or "fart. I hope y'all are having a great day. I had such a wonderful day at church, I feel so filled up with love.

I've got two teeth!

I adore this pic of Jonah, I've posted it before, but now I've scrapped it! He's had two teeth since the age of 8 months AND THAT'S IT! Just last week he started to get his fangs on the top...I think Aaron did that too. I'm so happy to have scrapped and that I got to do it among friends! Hope you're all having a great day!

Anywhooooo...

I love New Mexico Sunsets! When I see a thing of beauty like this I know that I am truly part of something bigger than myself.
Jakob is always snagging my camera and when I go to download pictures there are little jems like this on my drive. I just love everything about this picture because it's so true to life...with three boys that is.
My little j-man is learning how to feed himself. He's not perfect and he's super messy but he's growing up so fast. Travis thinks he'll be a lefty...we'll have to wait and see on that one.
We visited Tinker Town Museum in the Sandia Mountains. It's a really neat little place with quarter slots and little moving dioramas. The man who made the whole thing is so creative. Aaron loved the walls made out of mortar and glass bottles, I believe some six thousand of them.
Tessa is a woman after my own heart. Here she is organizing her desk drawer. So proud of herself. How many Hello Kitty watches does a girl need?
Well that's a little weekly update. Hope you all are well. Have a super Monday!

All of my kids have had the stomach flu and I can't seem to get anything done. I will try to post pics of my most recent layouts and cards asap. No promises.
have a great day.
