Cross Country Layout-Marigold #7

I used the Scrapbook Steals Marigold #7 sketch to complete this layout.
I made this layout to remember the times when cross country was not something he thought he could do. Today he took fourth place in a three mile run. I can't believe he has the strength and fortitude to do something I think of as so hard. I don't care if he comes in last or first. I'm just glad he's choosing to be healthy.

The team took second overall.

Arches National Monument

Happy to be home and crafting again. I used Scrapbook Steals Marigold #1 Sketch as a starting point for this layout about our recent trip to Utah.

This turned into a two page layout because the pictures were spectacular and I didn't want to leave any out.

I hope to return with my husband and do some more hiking. I loved being there in the early morning hours.

Warm Weather Greetings

I love this little froggy, named Freckles, from Stacey Yacula. I get all of her stamps over at
She designs the cutest things and there's a new release coming up!
Can't wait to get my stampy little hands on some more goodies.
The red rubber stamps come unmounted. They are just the rubber but the images are so cute!
I'm sure the Garden Blooms collection will be just as wonderful as her previous ones.
I have been working on removing a huge rock pile in my circle drive and haven't had much time to create, but I just had to join in here.
Stay crafty my friends.

Altenew Peony Caseing

Annette made a card using her Kaleidoscope ink pad. I just so happened to have the same ink pad (for many years!) and wanted to case her card. I love the way it turned out!

Hey There Chickie: Paper Smooches

This little chickie from Paper Smooches' Spring Fling set is just so adorable. Reminds me of Chicken Little. I feel like it's taking forever for spring to get here so I keep making cards that cheer me up.

Just a fun little card to brighten your day.

Peony Love: Altenew

I made this card for a friend. She is attending a wedding and I thought this would be a cute card for that occasion. I love Corals and oranges! My favorite colors. This stamp set from Altenew is super dreamy. I used the stamp press that my hubby made for me. It's a diy MISTI. I still haven't lined it up perfectly. Beautiful no matter what though.

The background piece of paper was left over from some Distress Ink Smooshing I was doing. The cardboard die cut was left over from another project I worked on a few months ago. I used some SU white craft ink and the Jenni Bowlin teardrop stencil over it for some interest.

Hope you're having a fantastic day.

Happy Spring!

Oh, how I wish it was full into spring.
This is a lovely Paper Smooches set Happy Spring.
I stamped the eggs in a more neutral color so that the watercoloring would shine.
Have a wonderful day!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week's Simon's Challenge is  A Bit O' Green
I stamped the shamrocks in various colors of green and masked as I went along. Very simple card that came together in a jiffy. I added sequins and beads and Liquid Pearls to the ephemera dotting the page. I hope you have a great Saint Paddy's Day.

Paper Smooches March Challenge

This month's challenge over at Paper Smooches was BIRTHDAYS!
I have a special friend who always cheers me up when I see her. We chat about our similar job experiences and comfort one another when stressed.
I thought the Chubby Chums set would be a perfect fit for our fun friendship.
The paper is Basic Grey. I cut a window panel out of the card front, put a piece of acetate in the window and then popped it up with foam to create a shaker card.
Head on over to the Paper Smooches Blog to participate.

Stay Crafty!

Altenew Peony Bouquet

This was fun to do. I made this card for a friend who is having her fourth child but her very first girl!!
Yay for girls ;).
This was my very first attempt at using this stamp and I would probably do some things differently next time. Ink colors and such. My alignment was a bit off as well. That being said I still adore this stamp set. Have a great day!

My Favorite Things Sketch #268

I used the My Favorite things sketch as a starting place for this card. I am also entering this card in the Tupelo Designs February challenge. I adore this little chameleon and wanted him to be hanging out on the front of the card. I used white enamel for his eye and then added a dot of black enamel to make it pop!

Then, I didn't know what do put on the inside so I created a scene which is fun and beachy. It's pretty ironic since it started snowing here again today.
Stay crafty out there.

My Little Army Guy

This is my take on Scrapbook Steals Midweek Mojo Lily #3 sketch. I had a really hard time with the colors on his costume and picking papers that would go with it. Yeesh.
My little Army Guy!
