Sympathy with Sweet Stamp Shop
Sympathy cards seem to be some of the hardest cards for me to make. I love this image by the Sweet Stamp Shop called "Sentimental Birds".
I folded a piece of acetate and then attached the aqua piece of paper to the inside front of the card. I used my Kaleidoscope ink pad to ink up the birds and attached that panel to the front of the acetate.
I stamped the sentiment and another row of birds and attached that to the inside back panel and didn't worry about seeing a bit of adhesive on the rear of the card. ;)

Happy Fourth of July Banner
I have been gearing up for this kit class for a while. The banner came together quite easily. When I think of summer I think pinwheels and ice cream and water balloons. Not to mention watermelon. :)
I used a bunch of stamps from the Sweet Stamp Shop to make this really cute.
This ice cream cone is from the SSS "Cool Scoop" set. I added some micro beads to the top of the cone for a sweet treat. (This also has a label stamp from SSS "Sweet Alpha Doodles" set)
I used the label stamps from the SSS "Sweet Alpha Doodles" set and added some stars. I actually used the mini journaling block from the same set to make my tiny American Flag.
I rolled up some patterned papers and made little fireworks by adding twine int the centers. Another label stamp and some alphas from the SSS "Sweet Alpha Doodles" set and the banner is complete!!!
Have a super WEEKEND!!!!

Wild Flowers In My Garden
I have been changing the landscaping around my house for 11 years!!! It's still a work in progress but a whole lot better than mud and weeds which is what it was when we moved in.
Mexican evening primrose trying to take over. I have to spray everywhere so it doesn't leave it's home ;)
My shasta daisies re finally beginning to bloom. YAY! and my Queen Anne's Lace is running wild. Galardia in it's oranges and reds is one of my faves.
Irises yellow purple and dark purple!
Love my holly hocks. All of my California poppies are closed in these pics because the sun is setting.
Have a great week and take some time to enjoy the out of doors!!!

Thrifty Mother Load Monday
Oh, oh, oh these shoes are in such great condition. At first I thought the gold ones might be a bit tacky but I tried them on and I really liked them. The gladiator sandals are LIKE NEW leather. I may have to find another home for them though because I'm not sure I like things around my ankles like that.
Tessa is paying me back for this silk parasol that she just HAD TO HAVE!
These dumbbells have 5lb weights on them and he threw in four 2 1/2 pounders and 2 more 5 pounders.
Three pair of church pants for Jakob (including Gap and a upscale brand ). Also a pair of Aeropastale jeans that fit him so well.
A NEW WITH TAGS dress for me. (maybe paired with the gold heals?)
So THE GRAND TOTAL for all of this
is
$20.50
Can you believe it? More than I usually spend but still WHAT A DEAL!!!!!
I hope you can find some amazing deals too!
The most expensive thing that I purchased was the weights. Those were $10.00. The parasol was $2.00 but I'm getting reimbursed for that ;).
Everything else was pretty much .50 cents and item except the miscellaneous things which were cheaper.

Tinkertown Museum
This layout is based on a Scrapbook Steals sketch by Julie. Turquoise #6
I used mostly Basic Grey Out of Print paper line and some My Minds Eye Fun Day excessories.
While my mom was here we had ourselves a little day trip adventure in the mountains.
Ross Ward spent HOURS carving, collecting and creating these little masterpieces.
You can learn more about this funky little museum by going HERE
Have a super great week! We're doing fun activities all week long.

Layered Pennants and Flowers
I used Stampin' Up's Array of Sunshine stamp set for this card and I'm loving how it came out.
Layered pennants and flowers and it's perfect.
