Noel Christmas Book Page Banner With Mini Wreath and Baby Jesus

How is everybody's Christmas crafting coming along. I finish up this banner I've been working on for a while. I made a second one for Tessa's piano teacher. I chose to make that one in reds instead of blues.

I used the Paper Studio glitter cardstock  and my Silhouette to cut out the letters

Here is the banner in read I really like them both.

I saw a sweet ornament on Pinterest that used wool and a wooden ball to make a baby Jesus. I think the original pin was from an Etsy shop. I recreated a similar ornament for the center of my banner. I wrapped the sheep's wool around in a tube like fashion and glued it to the head and the wreath. I added some chunky glitter to the wool for fun.

Have a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones and remember to stay crafty!

Thanksgiving Banner

I received a Thanksgiving Card in the mail from our insurance provider. I loved the image of the pumpkins and the colors. It gave me a great starting place for a Thanksgiving Day Banner.
Here it is hung on the frame in my living room

A little closer and you can see the pumpkin image card.

I traced and cut the bottoms of each sheet of patterned paper. The cardstock doilies are from Michael's. The leaf stickers are from Mrs. Grossman's...yes, I've had them for ages. I used a few pieces from the Gathering collection

I hope you hall have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family and friends. I am just starting to get back into crafting after a very long hiatus. Time to paint a dresser. :)
Stay sweet!

Fourth of July Book Page Banner: Paper Pinwheels, Accordion Flowers and Scrunch Flowers.

We just had a class and had such a great time with everyone making their banners. We used a old, torn up copy of  "Little House in the Big Woods".

The blue flower is fun to make. ;) Just ask Nicole, she had to make two. Hahaha.

Happy Fourth of July Banner

I have been gearing up for this kit class for a while. The banner came together quite easily. When I think of summer I think pinwheels and ice cream and water balloons. Not to mention watermelon. :)
I used a bunch of stamps from the Sweet Stamp Shop to make this really cute.

I cut the pennants out with my Silhouette.

This ice cream cone is from the SSS "Cool Scoop" set. I added some micro beads to the top of the cone for a sweet treat. (This also has a label stamp from SSS "Sweet Alpha Doodles" set)

These fun circles are from the SSS "Sweet Tooth" set. They were perfect for a border here.

I used the label stamps from the SSS "Sweet Alpha Doodles" set and added some stars. I actually used the mini journaling block from the same set to make my tiny American Flag.

More pinwheels and border dots.

I rolled up some patterned papers and made little fireworks by adding twine int the centers. Another label stamp and some alphas from the SSS "Sweet Alpha Doodles" set and the banner is complete!!!
Have a super WEEKEND!!!!

Valentine's Day Book Page Banner

I had a lot of fun with this one. I cut out the pages from a book entitled Admissions (yes, I read it and eh). I then traced the hearts with my old school heart template and started cutting away.

I layed out the pages in an order I felt was pretty balanced and then backed the top of each page with a strip of cardstock for stability.

Next, I punched some 1/8" holes and threaded my twine through, tied some bows and we were set. Simple and sweet and stores so nicely :)

Here's my gang of gals making there coffee filter wreaths. That's a whole lotta filters :).
Have a super Sunday and remember to make some time to create.

It's in the air

Fall is just around the corner...the mornings are brisk and lovely here in New Mexico. My morning glories are just about to bloom.

I made this banner with lots of different pieces from here and there. Architectural trace paper stamped flowers with hand dyed pearl centers. Cutie Hooties.

I sewed a fabric yo-yo.

Stamped some things. Watercolored them. Punched some trees. Spritzed some leaves.

Added texture to the trees.

Die cut some sprigs. Tied it all together with some twine and hemp and it's ready to bring the festivity of Fall into our home.
I'm doing this banner as a kit class for $10.00. If you're interested please contact me. There will be extras so that you can make your banner truly unique. THANKS.
Hope you're having a great day.
