AUTHENTIQUE March Sketch Challenge

Hey there, the Authentique sketch challenge for March goes live today. I hope you can all make some time to play along.

All you need is a little bit of amazing Authentique and your creativity and you're in.

These papers are from the Genuine Collection which I honestly can't get enough of.

The stamp is from Stampin' Up. Crushed Curry ink goes splendidly with these papers.
Have a super day.

Authentique February Sketch Challenge

The Authentique February Sketch Challenge is here!!!

I had so much fun with this one. I punched circles from the Delightful collection and then quartered them. I then began piecing them together like a quilt after I had inked all the edges. And just like it would happen in I had used real fabric I had issues with corners lining up...hahaha...and that's why I don't quilt mama. But still, this card came out so darn cute! Gotta love this bonny paper.

So head on over to the Authentique Paper Blog and join in the fun!!!!

Authentique January Sketch Challenge: I'm Crackers over you

How I adore these pictures of Jonah eating his favorite (at the time) animal crackers. I kept it pretty simple because I wanted his pictures to shine. He almost isn't this little "baby" anymore. :(

I love folding these fabulous flowers...so easy to do with Authentique's double sided Free Bird papers. Shipping tags and Technique Tuesday chipboard shape.

Thanks again to Aubrey for the washi tape and the Shimmerz which I used on this layout.

I had punched out the butterflies for another project I was working on and the strip was just sitting there on the desk begging to be incorporated here. I love the little dots of yellow Shimmerz that pop off of the craft background.

Hope you're having a happy day and don't forget to head on over to the Authentique Paper Blog to see the other great sketch entries and enter yourself.

Authentique December Sketch Challenge

What a super sweet sketch we have this month. Head on over to the Authentique Paper Blog to see all of the inspiration and join in the challenge.

My son is OBSESSED with all things train related. When we're in the car and he spots a train off in the distance (which I may not even see) he yells out, "TRACK! TRACK!", until I acknowledge that, yes, there is a track. :)

I painted the red and blue circles with acrylic paint and then outlined them with a white gel pen.
Keepin' it real here. I totally smudged the journaling and couldn't fix it. It fits the boy theme, right?!?!

Ahhhh, Blissful papers will never get old for me.

Cutie Pie!

I used Market Street Stamps grid background stamp with Stampin' Up Tempting Turquoise ink to stamp the title paper.

The red ruler paper is actually from Authentique's Christmas Collection, Wonder.

Authentique October Sketch Challenge

OCTOBER SKETCH...I turned it on it's side :)

YAY! It's time for another Authentique Paper Sketch to get your creative juices flowing. Are you guys sick of seeing my back to school layouts yet...sorry, but I'm loving having these DONE! Tessa, was last but definitely not least (love my baby girl) to have her layout completed.

The Splendid collection was PERFECT for these pictures of Tess on her first day. She wanted those shoes so badly and I was like "holy cajoly what are those even going to match?!?!" since they were less than $20.00 she won out. The craziest thing is that they light up so on early mornings before the sun has made it's way up into the sky she blinks all over the house :).

One of the other fabulous things about Authentique is there paper embellies. They just add the perfect sentiment and coordinate so nicely with the rest of the papers.

I took some of my foam Thickers and tinted them with ink. Then I heated and stamped them with a background stamp from Stampin' Up to get the texture. I just folded, cut and sewed my architectural trace paper to my layout for added dimension.

So head on over to the Authentique Blog today and enter the sketch challenge for the chance to win some goodies.
I hope you all enjoyed the last "installment" of my back to school layouts...hahaha. Now on to Halloween :)!!!
