For some reason I have a bit of a hard time photographing white bands with my darker hair. They always want to wash out...that said...I LOVE this band! I can't wait to see how it looks on Ms. Lisa!! I hope she adores it too and that it finds a happy place on her head! Have a great day.
Tessa and I had a day hangin' at the mall...yeah, she's only 7...and she loves the mall...wanna know why?!?!? So did I, so I asked her and she told me that she likes going to the mall because, "there's a candy store in it and a pet store where you can see kitties." Awesome, I love it.

When we went to Disney last time we splurged and Tessa got to go to Libby Lu's. She wanted to be a princess so badly. There were probably a million bobbie pins in her hair and that crown is real metal and heavy but she loved every minute! So worth it for the memories it gave us. Have a great day.

Had fun trying a new technique with the felt. I have another one up my sleave too that I'm itching to try. This one was sure bright and perky and reminds me of a cheerleader in some ways. hahaha.
Vanilla is said to be bland...blah...boring...BUT NOT THIS HAIR BAND BABY! She's va-va-va-voom! Really priceless in the vintage, girly flavor you get here. I have one more of these...on special order...not a band though...just the piece to attach to a barrett because the woman who ordered it wears glasses. How smart is that?!?!?? Have a great day.
This little girl seems so small to me...all of my babes were over 8 lbs. It was fun to get out there and shoot some photos again.

One of the special orders I had was for a gray and black band...I've really been wanting to do an all black one but now I'm stoked to make a gray and black one for myself. SO DELICIOIUS!. This picture was taken in 2008 when we went to the beach with our family. This is Jakob and Luke looking for Sand Crabs...they're these nasty looking beachy pill bug things. I'm sure they have a real name???? The kids love them...me...not so much.
most of the time that is. Sometimes I just want to get away from it all, but they're so darn cute and handsome that it makes me so happy to be a part of this family. I'm really trying to be a better mom and wife, because I know if I do, that will make them better people too. Have a great day!
When Jonah was born he was diagnosed with Transient Tachypnea of a Newborn. His lungs were still wet and his respiratory rate was off the charts. We had to stay an extra day but soon he was the picture of health. They bathed him, brought him to me, I dressed him and buckled him securely into his car seat. He was coming home and I couldn't have been happier.
You know when you're watching your child and then in slow motion (it seems) they begin to fall and there's absolutely nothing you can do...you're to far away...to slow and then the aftermath of bloody noses and skin scrapes is just so sad and a testament to the world that you're a bad mom...well that's how I feel anyways. I wanted to document just such a story. Used some old bandaid stickers and enjoyed it. Have a great day.

today so it's only fitting that I finally finished the layout of his first birthday! Honestly, I'm so behind on scrapping but I still love it I don't think I'll ever just give up...it's too much fun. The poor boy has strep throat and he's been really whiny but I'm going to make him cupcakes and visit with some friends this afternoon. I'm sure he'll like that. He really has completed our family. I love the way the other children interact with him and try to include them in their activities. He makes us so happy...I just can't believe he's already TWO!!!! 
So I'm playing catchup. I really want to be better at scrapbooking. I love it. I love capturing the memories. This little moment in time where Travis just adored his brand new baby boy...it's precious and so is that dang beard of his, NOT. He actually went home right after this and shaved it...just waiting 'til the boy was born I guess. Have a great day!
