Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge

Last week Paper Smooches had a great sketch challenge. I planned on entering that challenge but alas SOMEHOW I completely missed that the deadline was Sunday night. Ugh. THANKFULLY Paper Smooches is awesome and they have an ANYTHING GOES challenge this week. How awesome.

I used the Falling For You stamp set for the monster and senitment.
I've had these acrylic squares FOREVER. Honestly,  probably ten years plus. I've decided that my old stash has got to be used up and I'm in love with how it came together with the Paper Smooches stamps. I know that the adhesive behind the acrylic is not perfectly even but I'm okay with that. I don't think that it detracts from the cuteness.

I colored in the Monster with my Design Ad/Prisma markers and Copics
Here's hoping your days are crafty!

Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge

Giving this challenge another go..."why" you might ask. Well, because I LOVE the color orange and I got this awesome new ribbon from my friend Amy in the mail so why not ;). Have you guys seen the new Retro Sketches sketch #48, it's great and fit right in with what I wanted to do here.

I also wanted to participate in the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge , what perfect timing.
I used the Paper Smooches Picture Perfect Challenge  to get this card on it's way and everything else just worked. LOVE it.

This little guy makes me happy. He's super sweet.

Hexagons in Kraft and Orange-Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge

When I saw the inspiration picture for this weeks Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge I fell in love. Challenge #48 over at Use it Tuesday is also about my fave colors. This week is the Picture Perfect Challenge and you're supposed to use the pic to inspire your creation. I LOVE the color orange so it wasn't very hard for me. I began by stamping the the hexagons from the Geo-Graphic set multiple times and then embossed in white to mimic he headboard. I added some jewels as "finishing nails" on the left of my card. A little pop of gray and some washi tape and we're good.
I have quite a few PS stamps but I wanted to see how it would be to use one of their FREE digi images so I downloaded this adorable sun and got to coloring.
This sweet image can be found here. Hope you're all having a super day. Don't forget to leave some time to create. HUGS!

Vintage Challenge and Blog Give Away

I made this card for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge which was to make a card in VINTAGE style.  I'm not sure this card is exactly vintage but it's my interpretation. :)

I stamped the suitcase image from Paper Smooches "Get Outta Town" set on a book page and fussy cut it. I like the look it gives to the image. I then colored the cases with my prisma markers. I added texture by stamping a porcelain background stamp on the base paper. The patterned papers are from Basic Grey's Fact & Fiction collections.
Hope you're having a great weekend. Take care! Stay crafty.
PS
I will be doing a Give Away on my blog in a few days because wonder of all wonders I've reached 60,000 hits. I think that calls for a celebration, oh, that and the fact that it's gonna be my BIRTHDAY!
