Pocket Letter with Artist Trading Card- ATC

My latest Pocket Letter. It's just about all I can do these days. Life has definitely taken over. Life is grand. Wouldn't change it for anything. Love our new coop and chickens ;). More on that later.

I made the "Beauty" ATC with Altenew's Vintage Rose stamp set and white calligraphy ink.

Things for the recipient to play with!
Have a great day!

Pocket Letter Pen Pals

I've always been one to enjoy a handwritten letter. These Pocket Letters combine my passion for scrapbooking/papercrafting and my love of the handwritten.
I will definitely be making more of these in the future.
You just use a pocket page normally used for baseball cards.

Here is how I've filled my pockets

Winter ATC Swap: Snowflakes Galore

I love making ATC's. This is a group I made for a swap I'm participating in this winter.
Twenty-seven in all and so fun to look at.
I  used October Afternoon Sprinklers in Ice Box just dripped on the background.
The "brown" snowflakes were stamped with Versamark and then embossed with Stampin' Up's Iridescent Ice embossing powder. I chose the sentiment from one of my favorite hymns.
I love how the kraft background highlights the white flakes.

Hope you're all having a wonderful day.
Take care.

Scrapbook Steals April Blog Hop

WELCOME to the April SCRAPBOOKSTEALS blog hop!!
Today's steal is so AMAZING!!!
MY MIND'S EYE MISS CAROLINE

I was overjoyed to receive a pad of MISS CAROLINE DILLY DALLY in the mail from the Steal Network to create with! It's so fun and cute too.
I quickly dug into the paper and began by covering an over sized clothespin. I added some ink and flowers and voila-a recipe holder that's perfect for my kitchen.
Next, I used a mix of the papers to make flowers for this batch of ATCs. Sweet, little spring treasures to trade with friends. I love the wood grain papers that come with this set. The red polka-dotted paper made me swoon too.

And finally, I made this sweet little gift basket to be filled with goodies for a friend. I hope you enjoyed this morning's eye candy and don't forget to leave comments along the way to be entered to win a
$20.00 gift certificate

Winter ATCs: Crafty Enablers Swap

This is my take our most recent swap with a winter them. I love seeing all the different interpretations from the girls.

I used a light blue cardstock and laid floral punchouts over the top. I then spritzed it with Glimmer Mist. Next I ran my SU whimsy wheel over one side in Night of Navy ink. I punched out the snowflakes, stamped the tree in basic brown, added sticky strip and micah flakes across the middle and then I was on to the circle snowflake. :)

i stamped teh snowflake in Buckaroo Blue ink, punched them out and inked the edge. Added a pearl and adhered it to the ATC. Finito and I love the way it came out.
Have a super day!

Do you ATC?

I recently entered an ATC swap and I need to make 34 ATCs!!!! The new swap has a fall theme and I was thinking about something like this card I made a few years ago
ATC stands for Artist Trading Card and is exactly what it sounds like...a little piece of "art" made by you that you trade with paper artists. They measure 2.5"x 3.5" and can look like ANYTHING!
These are a few ATCs I've made in the past.

I love doing ATCs because you can put them together so quickly.

With bits and scraps of paper.

stitching and stamps.
Hope you have a great day!
