Welcome to the Kiwi Lane April Blog Hop. I'm so happy to be joining this wonderful group of girls in using such fun tools. This weekend I'll be featuring the
Celebrate template set.
On this layout I used the pennant and the ticket stub templates that come with the kit. My son has a best friend that he is growing up with and I just love these "through the years" layouts. See how tiny they were and now they're getting so big. The templates are so easy to work with, just trace and cut. Little effort for lots of wow!

The second project I created using the balloon and wavy templates. I had this great sparkly paper and I knew it would be wonderful paired with the cute balloons. I added a little twine and washi and ended up with a perfect celebration card!

The blog hop will run through 11:59 PM MST on Sunday April 6TH. a random winner from ONE of the participating blogs (including the Kiwi Lane blog), will be given a $25 gift certificate to the Kiwi Lane Shop, for leaving a comment and will be announced on the Kiwi Lane blog on Thursday, April 10TH.
Have fun visiting all the stops along the way.

    Scrapbook Steals June Blog Hop

    WELCOME! WELCOME!
I'm so excited that I get to share this project with you for the Scrapbook Steals June Blog Hop. Today's feature are American Crafts DIY Thickers! They are so perfect to customize for any project.
I first made this shadow box that I made from a Sillhouette cut and filled with various layered and rolled flowers. After filling the box I cut out the pennants and strung them together. I sprayed these Ali canvas Thickers with SC Mr. Huey's Sunset. I love the look.

When it was complete I added it to my photo wall in my living room. So bright and cherry.

Thanks for stopping by and just for kicks here is just one more project I created with the AC Thickers.

I used the LAX DIY foam Thickers for this card. I added glitter and enamel paint to the "U" for a vibrant look. You can add just about anything to the sticky surface of these Thickers. Super fun to play with.

Thanks for stopping by and now you just need to head on over to

they have such great scrapbooking supplies to steal every day.

You can find the washi tape flower tutorial on YouTube
    WASHI TAPE FLOWER TUTORIAL

One of my favorite ways to use washi is to make rosettes or washi flowers out of it. I paired up this washi with some super fun stamps from the Sweet Stamp Shop!

I had these great pictures of my little guy playing with his cars and "making tracks". I made my own "washi blocks" and cut a decorative edge on them. I think they add a great element to the page.

Lots of fun ways to use washi! Hop on the bandwagon and make your very own
flowers, stripes, and full covered pieces!

Make sure you start at the beginning at Kiwi Lane.
    Have you heard about
    KIWI LANE DESIGNS???
They make these great designer templates that you can use to add fun shapes and layers to any project.
I used their Abbey Road Mini Templates on my cards.

You can ink the edges of  your cuts to make them pop or you can leave them as is.

A random winner will be chosen from among the blog comments on each of your stops along the way. The prize is a $25 gift certificate to shop at the Kiwi Lane Store!!!

    Now head on over to

Sweet Stamp Shop November Release: Get Fit

    Hello there and welcome to
    Sweet Stamp Shop's
    November Stamp Release
    Blog Hop
You should have arrived here from
    Emily's Blog
if not, go ahead and start at the very beginning :).

    Got Broccoli?
I did in this super fun "Get Fit" stamp set from the Sweet Stamp Shop.
I wanted to use it in an unconventional way and came up
with this idea for mum like flowers out of the broccoli crowns.
I like the versatility of  being able to use stamps for something other than
what they were originally intended for.

Besides, pink broccoli is just FUN!

On to my next card which is really fast and fun to make.
Stamping the sneakers at different angles creates movement on this card that
    draws the eye across.

They look lovely in rainbow don't they?!?
Now it's time for you to go on and hop along to
    KELLY'S BLOG
and see what amazing projects she has in store for you.

I used my MME washi tape to wrap the edges of my book mark and the stack on the card. I like the nice, finished edge it gives.
I made a matching card and book mark for a friend in my book club. Yes, I know most everything is digital nowadays but I still love making book marks :)
The sentiments are some of my most favorite ever. How perfect is "You've wormed your way into my heart"?!?!? WOW!
