Thrifty Thursday: Suited Up

So, I really need to get out of the house and get thrifty.
I bought this Ann Taylor LOFT suit a while ago for a dollar a piece. It's pretty sweet! It's a size 6 and the skirt is just the right length. I think I need a better photographer on site. Have a wonderful day.

Free Bird Bow Card

I wanted to use some free bird papers that I don't usually go to and this is what I came up with.

I actually love how it came out. I also love that the back side of each paper is solid and coordinating.

Nativity Luminaria Tutorial:

Score a sheet of 8.5'x11" at
2.5",5",7.5", 10" and 10.25"
Turn it and score it at 2.5" all the way across.
Stamp your image


Cut out the windows

Stamp your image and emboss on the vellum

Color your image and then assemble the box.

The vellum warped a bit on mine when I colored it. I'll be sure to use a different method next time.

Add a flameless tea light and you have a perfect Christmas decoration.

Garnet #2: Family with Authentique

I was so glad to be able to get a family picture this year at Thanksgiving. My wonderful friend, Tera, took a bunch for us.

Still using all of the lovliness I got in my goody box from Aubrey. I love paper tape!

I printed out the journaling on the tag and then stamped the grid over the top of it.

Liquid pearls...delicious.
