A Bowl Full of Lovin' Gold Embossed Hearts

I just adore this little mixing bowl from the Sweet Stamp Shop's Baking Love set.. I paired it with hearts from the Stuck on You set. The gold embossed hearts are from SSS's Drops Background set.

Growing in Unity Final Day: Buzzy Bees

Hello all you beautiful crafters!!!

It's my last day as the GIU girl at Unity Stamps! It has been so great getting to hear from stampers all over the blogosphere.

I'm not sure what this little Unity Bee is called-he came to me as an extra stamp when I ordered. He really is CUTE isn't he?!?! I began by stamping Mr. Bee in versamark on a kraft base. I then embossed him in white to make him pop. Next, I colored in the images with Spectrum Noir Markers. I just had to add a touch of Stickles to their wings for sparkle.

I just cut a border strip from the honeycomb embossing folder and colored in a few of the hexagons to kick the card up a notch. Thanks for visiting with me this week. It's bee so fun.

Faux Batik Birthday Card

One of my dearest friends celebrated her birthday last week.

Sweet Stamp Shop Embossing Challenge #2

Hello there! The new Flickr challenge is up over at the

SWEET STAMP SHOP

I had a ton of fun playing along. 

The challenge is to do some type of embossing so I chose to do the faux batik technique.

It came out so great with the Old Fashioned Afternoon set. The kites really pop against the inked background. And this is one of my favorite sentiments. So head on over and join in.
