Graduation Blossom

My niece is graduating from highschool in the Phillipines. I should have made and mailed this out ages ago. Oops. I hope she likes it anyway. This is the first card I've made in what seems like forever. I'm pleased had some fun adding color to the solid image with my blender pen. Have a great day!

Wednesday Lunch

Chickadees, grapes, wasabi peas, quakes, choco pretzels, quakes, cheese, grapes, carrots, soy nuts, quakes, choco pretzels.

The kids love eating this way. I wish I had more veggies on hand and I told them the pretzels were "dessert" , hence, they'd better not eat them until the other food was gone.
I'm feeling horrible today...sore throat and popping ears. Praying I feel better so I can work out tomorrow.
Hope you have a great day!

Guess who's walking?

This video is just a snippet of the actual ability my 10 month old now weilds. He is by far my earliest walker and it just amazes me. Maybe he'll be an early potty trainer too. A mom can hope can't she. Have a great day.

Aaron's surgery

Aaron goes in to get a second set of ear tubes and an adnoidectomy.
This boy was NOT happy about having to put on a hospital gown even if it had cute tigers on it. They brought him a warmed blanket andI laid down in the bed with him because he refused to get in it and after a short time he fell asleep (getting up at 5 am does that).
He woke up when the anestheologist came in and seemed to be fine...that was until they put up the bars and started wheeling him away from his mommy. I think I was a bit more freaked out than him though. I didn't know what to do with myself and was informed that I'd be spending the next hour or so in the waiting room. The doctor came out and said everything went well and then another 50 min of waiting ensued. He had a difficult time coming out of the anesthesia.
But here he is afterward. The nurse told me that he didn't want to see me until he had his pants back on. Silly kid. He was very quiet for himself and couldn't walk straight. Super happy about the popsicle though AND the three cups of juice...so spoiled. I love him so much and I'm really grateful for modern medicine. Aaron can hear again.

Bargello in Blue

Just another bargello card. I had fun with the cloud background. I'm head on vacation for a short time. "See" ya when I get back and have a great day!

Bargello Card

This card was made using the bargello technique. It's fast and pretty easy and if you make a whole sheet it's totally worth it. Have a great day.

More summer fun

We got some new pets. We've already had one casualty. Lets see how long the snail and other fishies can make it.

Wild bird show at the library. Pretty cool. They had many different varieties.
Hollyhocks are finally in bloom. I can't wait to see the red, yellow and white ones I planted.
Jonah cruisin' around on his walker. I can't believe he's already nine months old!
Eating Gelato at Berry Ocean with friends after eating Indian and seeing the PROPOSAL (Super Funny: highly recommend it). Yum.
Going up to Sandia Peak with my Mama. That's ABQ down there.
Father's Day 2009. I will TREASURE this picture. Jonah hardly EVER falls asleep on us. So sweet.
Someone enjoyed my chocolate a little too much...the little sneak. He even looks a little guilty here.
Tessa and Aaron making spaghetti dogs at Debbie's house. They were fun and gross.
Going to see UP in 3D with NeNe Heather. It was really good.
I got to see my old friend Paulette. It was nice to catch up.
My little Jonah in his super cute swim trunks chomping on his pizza crust. I love summer.
Cedar Crest Ward Campout. Not too far from where we live...we stayed up late playing Would You Rather and the sunset was gorgeous. The boys had a blast poking sticks in the fire and everyone enjoyed smores.
Radishes from the garden. They're going crazy. I don't mind them in salads but we're on overload with them right now. You should see the size of the turnips we have too.
Tessa helped me make scrambled eggs and grits for breakfast...she basically cooked the eggs all by herself.
