You're the best gnomie

I made this card for the Scrabook Steals Monday Card Madness sketch. I wanted the card to be simple and the stamps to shine. I had the hardest time NOT coloring this little lady in because she's SO FUN to color. A little rouge on the cheeks and she was ready for her spotlight.

Lovin' the Gnomie set from Sweet Stamp Shop.
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

Watercolor Hearts Make a Wish

I had such a fun time getting dirty while making this card. My fingers are all inked up and I found my lost heat gun!!!!

Punched a few hearts from watercolor paper and dragged them through some ink washes. I used Monday Card Madness Sketch #91 for starting off with.
Hope your holiday was great and that you keep having fun this week!

I used Scrapbook Steals Monday Card Madness #88 sketch to get me going.

As an afterthought I added a few mini buttons to represent tiny gumballs ;)

Shimmer Sheetz and Microfine Glitter

I made this card for the scrapbook steals MCM sketch #81. I colored the images using my prisma color pencils and odorless turnpentine to blend. The foil sheets were embossed with my cuttlebug and then rolled over with white paint.

I am loving my new microfine glitter that just makes the images shine when they're in your hands.

I wish the pictures did it justice...it really is pretty. Hope you're having a sweet day.

Delight in the little things MCM #80

I made this card for the Scrapbook Steals Monday Card Madness #80 sketch. I love these colors together

I spritzed some of my homemade paint spray onto some seam binding and tied it into a bow.

The stamp is from Studio G and I love the sentiment.

Homemade Washi Tape

Good morning! Just wanted to share with you a quick card I made using some homemade washi tape that I whipped up. I used double sided tape (the kind that has a top and a bottom to peel off) and trace paper. I stuck the trace paper to one side of the tape and then stamped it in various colors.

When I was ready to apply it to my paper I just pulled off the backing strip. I can see all kinds of possiblities with this method!!! If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll be sure to get back to you.
Have a super day!
This card was made using Scrapbook Steals Monday Card Madness sketch #53 as a starting point.
