Stamping Bella Arthur and Annie Love with Simple Stories

Cute Card Thursday Challenge #359 is Crazy In Love. Feel free to play along!
I used Annie and Arthur stamps from Stamping Bella. They're such cuties.
I also used paper from Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine collection.
Made a little book page flower by punching a bunch of scalloped flowers in a few sizes and putting them together with a brad.

I colored the images with my alcohol markers and the heart stamps are from Sweet Stamp Shop.
Have a super sweet day!
Stay crafty.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge

Last week Paper Smooches had a great sketch challenge. I planned on entering that challenge but alas SOMEHOW I completely missed that the deadline was Sunday night. Ugh. THANKFULLY Paper Smooches is awesome and they have an ANYTHING GOES challenge this week. How awesome.

I used the Falling For You stamp set for the monster and senitment.
I've had these acrylic squares FOREVER. Honestly,  probably ten years plus. I've decided that my old stash has got to be used up and I'm in love with how it came together with the Paper Smooches stamps. I know that the adhesive behind the acrylic is not perfectly even but I'm okay with that. I don't think that it detracts from the cuteness.

I colored in the Monster with my Design Ad/Prisma markers and Copics
Here's hoping your days are crafty!

Beary Special Valentine Card Prisma and Watercolor

Simon Says Stamp and CAS-ual Fridays
have new challenges up this week. The challenge for SSS is an  ANYTHING GOES challenge! How cool. I can keep creating for Tommy's charity card drive!
The challenge for CF was to use a WATER COLOR TECHNIQUE and keep it CAS.
Honestly, this was so fun to color and paint.
The image is from Purple Onion Designs. I colored it with my Prisma Color Pencils. I added a piece of water color paper and created a water color wash with a three colors.
First, laying down water on the WC paper and then touching on colors.
I popped it up off of the card and then added the sentiment from Penny Black.

Stay crafty my friends and join in the fun!
PS CAS-ual Fridays is having a 20% off sale until Sunday. Hurry on over.

Retro Sketches #150 with Altenew Vintage Roses From Simon Says Stamp

I used Retro Sketches #150 Sketch to make this card. I just received this stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. It was a birthday present to myself...you know,
because I never get the clean house I ask for every year :)
It's from Altenew and it's completely gorgeous. I can't wait to play a little more with it and get my roses just right. I used SSS Wednesday Challenge to create a Valentine/Love Card. I also used my Wink of Stella clear glitter brush to add sparkle to the rose and hearts.
The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and the small hearts are from the Sweet Stamp Shop

Vintage Roses

I love that the Altenew layering stamps are so easy to use and line up.

Have a super crafty day. I've got to go take the recycling into town and buy cheese at Costco. Hahaha.,,super exciting... I know.

Debossed Silhouette Cut Heart Rose

I have enjoyed entering some amazing challenges as of late. Simon Says Stamp has a challenge to do "SOMETHING NEW". I chose to use a new idea/technique that I've not tried before. DEBOSSING!
is Cute Card Thursday also has a challenge to use something new. I wish I had SSS exclusive materials to play with but I tried a die cutting technique anyway.
I used my Silhouette to cut out the sentiment from an image that I water colored before hand. I cut the same word multiple times from a dark red paper and then layered it underneath. The stamp is from 5th Avenue Florals. I water colored it with Primrose Petals ink and my water brush.
I may still add a sentiment like "you have my" or "always in my" to the card.

Here you can see the layers stacked up.

Hope your week is going well and that you're finding time to craft.

Valentine's Day Book Page Banner

I had a lot of fun with this one. I cut out the pages from a book entitled Admissions (yes, I read it and eh). I then traced the hearts with my old school heart template and started cutting away.

I layed out the pages in an order I felt was pretty balanced and then backed the top of each page with a strip of cardstock for stability.

Next, I punched some 1/8" holes and threaded my twine through, tied some bows and we were set. Simple and sweet and stores so nicely :)

Here's my gang of gals making there coffee filter wreaths. That's a whole lotta filters :).
Have a super Sunday and remember to make some time to create.
