Jewelry plate

I started out with the brown base. I believe it was a candle holder? and it used to be a frosted glass color until I got it with my trusty Rustoleum.
I then painted the flower plate with Krylon's Bahama Sea. Ahhh, much cuter already.

Break out your E-6000 and go to town gluing these puppies together. You now have a great "stand" to put your jewelry on when you take it off at night. Happy creating.

How cute! You've inspired me to do one of these out of a fancy plate I've just been hanging on to. Thanks for the post! I also love the chocolate brown dresser below. I've never painted brown furniture but it sure looks elegant. I like your ideas.

I have those same plates...4 of them that I had no idea what to do with. I love that! Goodwill find mine was. :-)

I love this! My mom and I bought a bunch of plates, vases, and tea cups at Goodwill to try and make bird feeders. I'll have to make some of these, too!
