Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm watching the biggest loser and being inspired to do more this week!

This is a cake made with Splenda and applesauce...Travis decided to spruce it up with the chocolate sauce though...to "make it presentable". It was yummy. Go here for the recipe Chocolate Bundt Cake with fluffy icing

My friend, Erin, just had a birthday Thursday. We're getting together tonight to celebrate her birthday and mine at a friend's house. We'll be doing some waxing and painting of nails. Spa night. Amber is going to make her world famous chocolate bundt cake...there goes my weight loss. Why did my birthday have to come in the dreaded week 2? Oh well, I'll work harder next week. Have a great day!
Here's my little drooler having some workout time with mommy.
Grilled Honey Mustard Glazed Chicken over a yummy salad with homemade salad dressing and a side of Red Quinoa! YUMMEH!
First, a little history...when we came to look at this house and I walked into this bathroom (which had carpet) I fell in love with this tub. I dreamt of all the wonderful baths I'd take in it and I just had to have it. Now I call it the BIG waste of space. It is the most uncomfortable tub I've ever been in not to mention the fact that it takes the entire contents of our water heater to fill it 2/3 full and then all you get is cold... Honestly I haven't taken a bath since I was pregnant with Aaron and he'll be five in March. So sad, right. We are thinking of doing a little remodel, tearing this tub out and putting in a shower/tub combo. We'd then rip out the shower stall and make it into a linen closet. I really like that idea. It may take YEARS to get it done though.
So here's the tiny shower stall I use because of the big, bad bathtub. It's a work out shaving my legs in here!
Messy counter with paint tray.
My little thrift store quails. When I bought them I thought, why did you buy these, and now I love them.
Travis' job of putting up bead board instead of tile on the tub surround will be finished...who knows when! But I'll post pictures when it's done. I'll try to get daylight pics too as the yellow flourescent light is abomindable. Have a great day.
Jakob, he likes it high and tight. Hair lingo ya know. Keeping up on his hair is a chore in itself.
He sayin' , "See how suave I look now mom."
Aaron the wildman. His hair was so long I could put it in a tiny ponytail in back. He didn't want to cut it but he was super happy with the end result though.
Can't you tell? Well he really is.
Then there's this little fuzz head. Travis just used the clippers on him all the way around. He just gets a clean up.
Awwwww. Look at the drool. Funny little side note. Jonah is the only child I have that we comb his hair from right to left because of his cowlick. Everyone else combs from left to right.
