Growing in Unity Final Day: Buzzy Bees

Hello all you beautiful crafters!!!
It's my last day as the GIU girl at Unity Stamps! It has been so great getting to hear from stampers all over the blogosphere.

If this is the first post you've seen from my GIU posts, just make sure you leave a comment on the four previous posts this week for your chance of winning TWO Itty Bitty stamps of your choice from Unity.

I'm not sure what this little Unity Bee is called-he came to me as an extra stamp when I ordered. He really is CUTE isn't he?!?! I began by stamping Mr. Bee in versamark on a kraft base. I then embossed him in white to make him pop. Next, I colored in the images with Spectrum Noir Markers. I just had to add a touch of Stickles to their wings for sparkle.

I just cut a border strip from the honeycomb embossing folder and colored in a few of the hexagons to kick the card up a notch. Thanks for visiting with me this week. It's bee so fun.
Stop by again some time and see what I've got in the works.

I'll announce the winner of the Itty Bitty Stamps on Monday. TTFN!

I like how you colored in only some of the honey comb areas. It looks really cute. I'm going to keep that in mind. Sometimes I use too much color.

Love! Those bees are adorable - especially with the stickles on the wings! And what better than cute hexies to go with bees? Love the pops of color with the kraft too...I'm addicted to kraft-based cards lately!

Awk, I am just loving your cards!! I've pinned about 6 different card designs so far....love your use of color! This is an awesome card. The hexagon border with the bee is fabulous and then when you colored inside some of the hexes...what a great pop!
