Weigh In Monday:Week 7

It's weigh in Monday again and it's a happy one. Last week I recorded no weight loss...well it was really .2 but how could I count that as an actual loss?!? That's okay though because my body was good to me this week and actually did what I wanted. I was so good, even for Valentine's Day. The best part is that I'm never hungry. I eat all good stuff and I never feel starved.
This week I'm down a total of 5 pounds. I am just amazed, really, amazed by what my body has been able to do...what I have been able to control about myself...namely my chocolate obsession. I never thought I could get through a day without chocolate but now it's no big deal. I want to be the best me that I can be and I'm getting closer and closer to my goal weight. I have to say that having my hubby support me in this has been a HUGE help. He still eats what he wants , but luckily it's not stuff I crave, he makes sure of that. Well, here's hoping for another great week. FYI: That's a total of 16.8 pounds in SIX WEEKS. I have now lost 10.3 % of my body weight! If I can do it, so can you. Keeping track of my food intake has been THE BIGGEST HELP.
Here's a pic of me last year on Valentine's Day. We had Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet and Jakob earned his Bobcat. I thought I looked pretty good, I mean I had just had a baby six months previous. I'd like to try that shirt on now and see what I look like in a picture.

Congratulations on your weight loss. It is such an amazing feeling and being able to buy smaller clothes is the best feeling ever!
I have my weigh in tonight....eek. So far I have lost 1st 10lb and am only a few pouns from my target weight. Almost back down to a size 10 now....I had crept up to a 14 and not a place I felt comfy with. Does not matter how much or little you want to loose it is still an amazing thing to be able to do it.

How do you not eat chocolate??? I am a sugar addict and find it so hard not to have any. Do you have a secret you can share besides eating gum.
I belong to TOPS,it is a weight loss support group. And I have reached my goal last May with a loss of 37.5 and since January am finding it so hard to stay the same even. I was 4 pounds below my goal and am now .5 above my goal.
So that means that i've gained 4.5 pounds and just can't shake it off.
It doesn't help that I am waiting for a liver transplant and have no energy,but it didn't stop me before. But I do think that i am retaining fluid,will be going to the dr's next week. Anyways enough of my blabbing!
Keep up the great work,you are an inspiration to many!!!

Yay for you! You have been doing a fantastic job and I say to count the .2 losses. I do!

I wish I was as good as you this past weekend. We ate out a LOT and I can totally tell because I feel waterlogged. We almost never eat out because either the boys don't behave or it's too expensive. Plus it's so not good for you. I'm chugging my water today like there is no tomorrow and hopefully I'll have a break even week.
